Job Title: Planning Assistant

Tate Recruitment is pleased to be working with a luxury retail and fashion brand based in London to recruit a Planning Assistant.

Job Purpose:

This role will support the driving of all replenishment planning activities globally within the company's global planning organization. The successful candidate will embody the company's values and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with assessing global replenishment forecasts and creating a culture of accountability for forecast accuracy.
  • Maintain the global rolling line cards for replenishment items and ensure adherence to the replenishment monthly critical path.
  • Collaborate with regions to identify and maximize opportunities in replenishment products.
  • Determine long-range forecasting to support key vendor strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assessing the global replenishment line cards and ensuring adherence to global weeks of cover targets.
  • Responsible for driving the global replenishment buy process.
  • Responsible for monthly evaluation of trading with regional teams to assess in-season management decisions.
  • Responsible for reviewing regional replenishment sales forecasts and stock weeks of cover based on current trading and overlay adjustments if necessary to future buys.
  • Responsible for coordinating regular free stock drops to optimize both carry forward and replenishment inventory.
  • Responsible for forecasting and planning replenishment margin.
Personal Profile:

We are looking for a strong planning, merchandising, and forecasting professional with decision-making capability clearly driven by developing strategic product and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and SAP/BRRS skills are preferred.
