Salary: £14,400 per annum

Hours: 21 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the M-PACT program for families with children affected by parental substance misuse across the region.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to:
    • Generate and receive suitable referrals for families.
    • Evaluate family eligibility for the M-PACT program.
  • Conduct regular M-PACT sessions at various locations throughout the year.
  • Ensure quality service delivery to families.
  • Maintain family engagement in the program.
  • Achieve positive outcomes for both children and their parents.
  • Complete program documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and children by identifying and reporting concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  • Assess and identify suitable families for the M-PACT program.
  • Participate in applicant assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Recruit, train, and support facilitators for the M-PACT program.
  • Facilitate family conferences with clients and their support networks.
  • Ensure all clients exiting the program have established plans for ongoing care and support.
  • Identify safeguarding issues and report them as necessary.
  • Attend progress reviews and participate in staff support sessions.
  • Engage in personal and professional development activities.
  • Coordinate with relevant professionals and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with families in community or residential support settings.
  • Proficient in conducting needs and risk assessments.
  • Experience in facilitating group sessions and workshops.
  • Knowledge of the 12-step program.
  • Familiarity with motivational enhancement and cognitive-behavioral strategies.
  • Empathetic approach with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Strong organizational skills for record-keeping in compliance with data protection laws.
  • Commitment to confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and skill enhancement.
  • Open-minded and non-judgmental attitude towards clients and their families.
  • Understanding of child/adult safeguarding protocols and incident reporting procedures.
  • Experience with electronic case management systems for client documentation.
  • Aptitude for assessing client needs and directing them to appropriate services.
