Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics Specialist

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their Microelectronics department in Andover. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing engineering activities to ensure product quality, adherence to specification, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and management to execute tasks for engineering projects.
  • Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and junior engineers on joint tasks, day-to-day activities, and medium/long-term projects.
  • Develop processes to ensure quality and reduce waste, analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Use documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability, and Gauge R&R to verify and validate manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure equipment and process Standard Operating Procedures are documented and reviewed regularly for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Production Teams in technical matters, address technical issues, re-optimise processes, and troubleshoot.
  • Review new and/or up-issued customer documentation to ensure documents and processes are compliant with customer requirements.
  • Assist quality engineers in investigating instances of poor quality or customer returns, compile evidence and data for 8D reports, review and evaluate process risk for PFMEAs, and support internal and external audits.
  • Support senior engineers and management with the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Ensure key equipment remains operational by working with maintenance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment.
  • A Degree Level Qualification in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  • It would be desirable to hold a HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
