Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Techniche Global. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the requirements for a product line or product group are met and complied with.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects.
  2. Communicate with project stakeholders the status of assigned tasks.
  3. Collect, present and analyze data for reports submitted for the purpose of project evaluation.
  4. Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and more junior or graduate engineers on joint tasks; day-to-day tasks, medium/long-term projects, training, mentoring, and development.
  5. Develop processes and ensure best possible quality and reduce waste; increase efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout; identify, measure, monitor, and report on process indicators or other measurables to help drive improvement.
  6. Use documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability, and Gauge R&R to continuously verify and validate manufacturing processes.
  7. Ensure equipment and process Standard Operating Procedures are documented and reviewed regularly for accuracy and compliance.
  8. Train and mentor junior and graduate engineers on key items of manufacturing equipment, engineering disciplines, procedures, and individual performance.
  9. Assist quality engineers to investigate instances of poor quality or customer returns; compile evidence and data for 8D reports, review and evaluate process risk for PFMEAs, and support with both internal and external audits.
  10. Support senior engineers and management with the introduction of new products and processes; evaluate new customer documents, generate assembly instructions and/or drawings, design jigs and fixtures, and devise methods to measure, collect, and evaluate data associated with special and/or critical characteristics.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum: An HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  2. Preferable: A degree qualification; BEng/MEng in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  3. A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment.

Monday - Thursday: 08:00
Friday: 08:30
