About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery principles. You will work collaboratively with Probation and Integrated Offender Managers to ensure continuity of care, providing prison in-reach support to facilitate positive community reintegration. Your expertise will be essential in developing and delivering bespoke interventions tailored to support offenders, managing a caseload, and facilitating progression into structured treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prison in-reach support to facilitate positive community reintegration
  • Work collaboratively with Probation and Integrated Offender Managers to ensure continuity of care
  • Develop and deliver bespoke interventions tailored to support offenders
  • Manage a caseload and create, implement, and review ongoing recovery and treatment plans
  • Facilitate progression into structured treatment
  • Contribute to reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community
  • Collaborate closely with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals
