Job Title: Specialist Doctor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Doctor to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, participating in on-call duties, and contributing to undergraduate teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-class clinical care to patients on a day-to-day basis
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide emergency surgical cover
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching and training
  • Work closely with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure efficient running of services
Requirements:
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • Success in Intercollegiate specialty examination or overseas equivalent
  • Clinical training and experience in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
  • Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems
