Job Summary

As the FP&A Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of all financial planning processes, including consolidation, reporting, and management analysis for the EMEA Area of Abbott's Nutrition Division. This role is also responsible for the Area Headquarter budget and must ensure strong and effective financial controls are in place and executed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consolidation and analysis of the Quarterly RLBE and Annual Planning processes, including preparation and review of the EMEA Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Currency Exchange, and Risks/Opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis of EMEA monthly/quarterly/year-to-date financial results, highlighting and investigating key variances.
  • Coordinate the month-end close process, assisting affiliates as appropriate to ensure accurate results and financial records.
  • Support affiliates to resolve issues requiring elevation or investigation across a wide range of topics, including transfer price, COGS, and TCGM, and HOST Analytics planning software.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to manage EMEA Area departmental budgets, providing appropriate analysis and monthly LBE forecasting of financial position.
  • Responsible for balance sheet reporting, including DOH and DSO each month for financial close.
Requirements
  • Understanding of commercial FP&A and technical accounting issues.
  • Minimum passed finalist/Newly qualified accountant.
  • University Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Passed Finalist or Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
