Program Manager DC Exit - Technology, Engineering, and Operations

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a critical data centre migration and closure programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the build of an internet security zone (DMZ) and scale out of infrastructure capacity to absorb incoming workloads.

This is a fixed-term full-time role for 2.5 years, requiring a strong track record of delivering large-scale IT projects. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience with executive sponsors and be able to navigate a highly matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a robust delivery plan for the project, including milestones and review points for measuring progress.
  • Clearly define the scope of the project and ensure scope is clearly defined in Jira and work assigned to the appropriate team members.
  • Identify and define Roles & Responsibilities for Project activities.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the PMO for Project activities.
  • Provide timely communication of project status, performance results, issues and risks to schedule, cost, and quality to project stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience (5 years minimum) in the delivery of IT systems and services, with a significant emphasis on Infrastructure, IT security and a track record of accomplishment bringing credibility to engagements.
  • Experience within IT Infrastructure, active directory, network, windows, end points, security tooling, and Azure cloud advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, people management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization working across multiple time-zones to support project delivery.
