Program Manager DC Exit - Technology, Engineering, and Operations

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a critical data centre migration and closure programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the build of an internet security zone (DMZ) and scale out of infrastructure capacity to absorb incoming workloads.

This is a fixed-term full-time role that requires previous experience with large-scale projects and executive sponsors. The candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the PMO to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a robust delivery plan for each project, including appropriate milestones and review points for measuring progress.
  • Rigorously manage project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Provide timely communication of project status, performance results, issues, and risks to schedule, cost, and quality to project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Lead and Finance teams to establish a financial plan for the project and manage the plan in accordance with agreed budgets.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience in the delivery of IT systems and services, with a significant emphasis on Infrastructure, IT security, and a track record of accomplishment bringing credibility to engagements.
  • Experience within IT Infrastructure, active directory, network, windows, end points, security tooling, and Azure cloud is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, people management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization working across multiple time-zones to support project delivery.
