Position: Financial Bid Strategist

Location: Belfast (hybrid working model - 3 days per week in the office)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination, development, review, and presentation of Estimating, Costing & Pricing information to support the Manage Bid & Manage Project Processes
  • Prepare and present estimating and financial data during Gates, Estimate Reviews, and CCRs
  • Model estimated costs, overheads, funding, cash flow, margins, and profitability
  • Assist in the ongoing enhancement and implementation of estimating, costing, and financial modelling methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Maximise the value of corporate knowledge and data for the swift generation of Prices, Target Prices, and Target Costs
  • Conduct cost analysis to support early conceptualisation
  • Benchmark Thales pricing against competitors
About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in Bid Finance, with a solid understanding of financial performance metrics, risk, and opportunity analysis and modelling.
  • Strong awareness of contractual, commercial, and financial aspects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires SC Clearance. While it is advantageous to currently hold this clearance, the successful candidate must undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. For further guidance, please visit the UKSV website.

To qualify for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last five years. In certain circumstances, a minimum of three years' residence in the UK over the last five years may be accepted, along with additional overseas checks.
