Position Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Bid Specialist to join our UK team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, create, review, and present Estimating, Costing & Pricing information to support the Manage Bid & Manage Project Processes
  • Prepare and present financial data at various review stages
  • Model estimated costs, overheads, funding, cash flow, margins, and profitability
  • Assist in the development and implementation of estimating, costing, and financial modelling methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Maximize the value of corporate knowledge and data for the rapid generation of Prices, Target Prices, and Target Costs
  • Conduct cost analysis to support early concept development
  • Benchmark Thales pricing against competitors

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in Bid Finance, with a solid understanding of financial metrics, risk, and opportunity analysis
  • Strong awareness of contractual, commercial, and financial principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Security Clearance:

This role requires SC Clearance. While it is advantageous to currently hold this clearance, it is mandatory for the successful candidate to undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.

To qualify for full SC, candidates generally need to have resided in the UK for the last five years. In some cases, a minimum of three years' residence in the UK over the last five years may be accepted, along with additional overseas checks.
