Bid Finance Manager

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Bid Finance Manager to join our UK team in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating, creating, reviewing, and presenting estimating, costing, and pricing information to inform our Manage Bid & Manage Project Processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present estimating and financial data at Gates, Estimate Reviews, and CCRs
- Model estimated costs, overheads, funding, cash flow, margin, and profitability
- Support the development and implementation of estimating, costing, and financial modelling methodologies, processes, and tools
- Maximise the value of corporately held knowledge and data for rapid generation of prices, target prices, and target costs
- Conduct cost analysis in support of early concepting and benchmark Thales prices with competitors
- Proven experience in Bid Finance with a strong understanding of finance and performance metrics, risk, and opportunity analysis and modelling
- Strong contractual, commercial, and financial awareness
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Must be a car driver with a current licence
This role requires SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if you currently hold it, but if not, you will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
