About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, implement, and maintain robust and secure IT systems.
  • Provide third-line support for complex technical issues, adhering to established processes and ITIL standards.
  • Contribute to the identification, assessment, and delivery of technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to meet business needs.
  • Support IT Security activities, including monitoring, incident resolution, and compliance.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate new systems and services, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Monitor and optimize IT systems and services, proposing and managing improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure engineering, including hands-on administration, upgrades, and monitoring.
  • Awareness of basic cyber security concepts and controls.
  • Microsoft Windows server system administration, including Domain networks and Active Directory management.
  • Linux system administration and basic bash shell scripting.
  • Experience with HP enterprise class servers and storage environments.
  • Experience working within a virtual IT infrastructure environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • ITIL 3 or V4 foundation certified.
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certified (or equivalent demonstrable experience/certification).
  • Experience with Cisco equipment and configuration.
  • Experience with OpenText/Micro-focus software.
  • SIEM experience and event analysis.
