Westray Recruitment Group is on the lookout for a Communication Solutions Engineer with a robust background in the 2-way radio sector for a client situated in the Teesside region.
This client is a leading provider in the rental and sale of premium 2-way communication systems, as well as in the design and implementation of intricate communication solutions. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident through their technical support, rapid response repairs, and their adherence to European ISO-9001 quality standards.
With significant investments in their facilities, product offerings, and service standards, the organization also maintains strong partnerships with manufacturers. They prioritize training and development, investing in both their workforce and technology to ensure long-term success.
Financially robust, the organization boasts an excellent market reputation and ambitious growth plans, currently employing over 30 staff members with an annual turnover projected to increase.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Communication Solutions Engineer (presales), you will assume a technical leadership role, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to create, source, plan, and deliver innovative products and communication solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing projects and working alongside existing engineering and sales teams to resolve any technical challenges that arise.
- Support the organization's growth and profitability by assisting customers with projects and assignments.
- Take a technical lead in transforming customer requirements into effective product solutions.
- Evaluate, propose, prepare, and verify technical solutions until their final implementation.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop complex communication solutions.
- Coordinate technical deliverables and oversee daily project operations.
- Provide presales technical support to customers, partners, and sales personnel in product introduction and configuration.
- Engage in conferences and stakeholder meetings as a technical expert and project coordinator.
- Work closely with sales teams to comprehend client needs and objectives.
- Assess client requirements and recommend the most appropriate radio communication solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to contribute to product recommendations and design concepts.
- Offer pre-sales technical assistance and respond to partner inquiries.
- Assist in the creation of technical proposals and documentation for clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in the radio communication sector.
- Travel as necessary to support business operations.
