Job Summary

The SVP, Visa Commercial Solutions, Europe will lead the commercial business in Europe, driving growth and innovation in the region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic priorities to accelerate Visa's commercial business, delivering aggressive revenue growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic priorities for Visa Commercial Solutions in Europe, driving growth and innovation in the region.
  • Lead a high-caliber team of sales, partnership, solutioning, and go-to-market delivery specialists.
  • Carry P&L responsibility for VCS in Europe, managing financial forecasts and long- and short-term financial operating plans.
  • Drive thought leadership and development with issuers, acquirers, technology partners, and emerging alternative clients.
  • Be responsible for all of Visa's commercial business results and expansion within the region.
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders to develop solutions relevant to the region.
  • Build visibility of Visa capabilities in VCS across the region, through regular engagements with industry, regulators, and government leaders.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales leadership experience in commercial payments, cash management, treasury management, or launching new FI products.
  • Deep experience in Commercial or Transaction Banking (10 years +), or in Commercial payments.
  • Extensive experience leading sales, sales engineering, solutioning teams in the commercial, treasury management, and/or payments industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial payment methods (cards and digital), competitive and market trends, and leading-edge technology and innovation.
  • Deep experience in building commercial payment flows, including small business segments.
  • Commercially astute with experience of working in a global matrix organization.
  • Ability to address regulators with strategic thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated capability on managing a business on an end-to-end basis across a complex geography.
  • Passion for building strong team culture and developing the team's careers and contributions to best success.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations.
