Job Overview
Mandarin Speaking Accountant (Banking)

We are seeking a dedicated Mandarin Speaking Accountant to join our team at ELP Consult Ltd. This position involves a comprehensive range of financial accounting duties, including processing, reviewing, and maintaining control over financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage core accounting systems on a daily basis, ensuring accurate entry and operational efficiency;

· Support the preparation of regular reports for both Head Office and local regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;

· Generate daily management information reports, monitor key management and regulatory indicators, and assist in compiling data for audit and tax purposes;

· Oversee expenses, suspense accounts, and cash management, while maintaining financial statistics and compiling necessary information;

· Take responsibility for reconciling Nostro and Vostro accounts, as well as security custodian accounts;

· Assist in the management of company fixed assets and contribute to various projects as directed by the Head of Department;

· Ensure that transaction records and data are organized and filed accurately and promptly;

· Complete additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.



Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;

· ACCA or ACA qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred.


Skills & Experience:

· At least 2 years of relevant experience in a banking environment;

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel;

· Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
