Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Insights: Investigate trends related to the sectors covered by Dao, focusing on Chinese communities and cultures within technology, marketing, and creative fields. The ability to conduct research in Chinese is essential for this role.
  • Content Ideation: Generate original content concepts based on prevailing trends in China.
  • Writing: Produce news articles, case studies, and opinion pieces concerning China. News articles should be concise and timely, emphasizing impact, while case studies and opinion pieces should present strong, unique angles that provide value to our readership.
  • Editing: Review and refine articles for accuracy and quality, ensuring both text and imagery meet high standards.
  • Social Media Management: Develop content for and oversee our social media platforms to enhance articles published on our website.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other writers and external contributors as necessary.
