About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Director to join our team at DesignStudioPeople. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
  • Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing project management team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering complex projects in a creative agency environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior project management role.
  • Qualifications: Recognized project management certification (PMP, APMP, Prince2, etc.) and a degree in a related field (business, management, etc.).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the creative agency industry, including project management best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
