Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our busy and respected team at Simpson Judge Ltd.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their confidence and experience in a broad caseload of family cases, with a bias towards private law children work.

The successful candidate will work directly with the Partner in charge of the Family Team and will have the opportunity to participate in business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a broad caseload of family cases, with a focus on private law children work
  • Work directly with the Partner in charge of the Family Team
  • Participate in business development opportunities
  • Develop confidence and experience in a broad range of family law cases
Requirements:
  • A solid background in private family law work, including children, finances, and cohabitation
  • Excellent client care skills, good time management, and organisational skills
  • A team player with enthusiasm for advocacy
  • Commitment to abide by the Resolution Code of Conduct
Desirable:
  • Confidence to conduct some initial court appointments
  • Applications from those based in the Oldham/Saddleworth/Calder Valley/Manchester areas are particularly welcome
  • Applications from men are welcomed to diversify the team
  • Self-sufficiency in typing, with secretarial support available
  • Commercial awareness of billing and fee collection
