We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's support package to provide personal care and support in their own home. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of tasks that can vary day to day, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities- Administration of medication
- Moving and Handling with Hoist
- Gastrostomy Care / PEG feeding
- Personal Care
- Assisting the client in the community
- Administrative duties
- Light housework
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and dynamic with a strong personality and common sense
- At least 6 months of complex care experience, including dealing with seizures, PEG feed, catheter, and administering medication
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
- Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a 'person-centred' way
- Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
- Respect Company policies and procedures
- Be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate
- Committed to confidentiality and treating the client with dignity and respect
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.15 for daytime shifts and £19.23 for waking nights
