About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's support package in their own home. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our client, who requires assistance with daily living tasks and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication and assist with personal care tasks
  • Provide support with moving and handling, including the use of a hoist
  • Assist with gastrostomy care and PEG feeding
  • Accompany the client in the community and assist with light housework
  • Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, dynamic personality
  • At least 6 months of complex care experience, including dealing with seizures, PEG feed, catheter, and administering medication
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and a commitment to confidentiality and dignity
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards and meet the client's needs
