Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Deaf Service

Cygnet Hospital Bury is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in supporting our d/Deaf and Hearing Impaired patients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work in our Adult Low/Medium secure services onsite at Cygnet Hospital Bury. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering outstanding care and an interest in empowering d/Deaf or hearing impaired service users to access the same recovery opportunities as their hearing peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
  • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
  • Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines
Requirements:
  • Current or upcoming UK NMC PIN number
  • Good understanding of the latest nursing practices
  • Commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage, and reduce risk
  • Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empower and support service user independence
