Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team at the Hope and Horizon Unit, a specialist CAMHS Inpatient Unit in Bury. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to young people aged 13-18 years with complex emotional and behavioral difficulties.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care programs for our patients. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care, support, and guidance to young people and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver our vision of a happier and more hopeful life for everyone in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care programs for young people with complex emotional and behavioral difficulties
  • Provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • Experience of working in CAMHS or a similar setting
  • Knowledge of mental health issues in young people and relevant legislation
  • Ability to work flexibly, including rotation to night duty
