Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Aerospace Project Coordinator for a contract role. This position involves collaborating with a globally recognized client that specializes in pioneering technologies aimed at delivering sustainable, safe, and competitive energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
    Oversee the planning and execution of aerospace initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring all project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Act as the main liaison for all project stakeholders, including clients, senior leadership, and external partners, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Resource Management:
    Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes and adhere to timelines.
  • Risk Assessment:
    Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project schedules and objectives.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Foster a culture of ongoing enhancement by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in project management and aerospace engineering.
  • Change Management:
    Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and a smooth transition.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in project management within Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other highly regulated engineering sectors, with a proven history of successfully leading projects across Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Manufacturing & Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects focused on change and transformation.
  • Proficiency in using Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and resource management, including the ability to create and manage complex project schedules, track progress, and generate detailed reports.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage intricate projects, and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
