We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading health and wellbeing service, we provide mental health care for community and inpatient settings.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and responsible clinical duties for the PICU team. They will ensure excellence in the provision of mental health assessments and evidence-based treatments to all referred patients. The role also involves providing supervision to trainees, participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota, and working collaboratively with colleagues in community and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and responsible clinical duties for the PICU team.
- Ensure excellence in the provision of mental health assessments and evidence-based treatments.
- Provide supervision to trainees.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in community and inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
