About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Enforcement Manager. This is a pivotal role that will play a key part in building a sustainable and efficient energy landscape for the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a highly professional team of enforcement officers and technical experts in developing and executing strategies that achieve our regulatory goals.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Department for Energy and Net Zero, OFGEM and internal teams to drive compliance with the heat networks sector.
  • Develop and implement robust technical standards and regulations to protect consumers and ensure accurate heat metering.
  • Lead enforcement activities to guarantee industry's compliance with legal requirements and provide expert guidance to support improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree or its equivalent in an engineering or related subject.
  • Ability to quickly acquire and apply technical knowledge and a track record of delivering technical regulations, operational projects or similar in the utilities sector.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends and inform decision making.
  • Strategic mindset to develop and implement effective plans, adapt to changing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with industry representatives, policymakers, consumers and other stakeholders.
