About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fessey House, a unique and modern care home in Swindon. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, who are living with dementia and other cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical, emotional, and physical support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Participate in the assessment and care planning process, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and review residents' needs, making adjustments to their care plans as necessary.
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and dignity for all residents.
Requirements
  • Fluent English language skills (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
  • Awareness and compliance with Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Fire, First Aid, and Accident/Incident policies.
  • Ability to work a rolling 2-week rota, including early, late, and night shifts, with a requirement to work every other weekend.
