About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at Fessey House, a unique and modern care home in Swindon. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring our residents feel safe and comfortable in their living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of cleaning, including laundry and equipment maintenance
  • Assist with meal times and ensure residents' needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and quality of life of our residents

About Fessey House

Fessey House is a 68-bed care home, comprising six individual units, each with a kitchen, lounge, and dining room. Our residents are aged 65+ and have cognitive impairments, such as dementia. We strive to provide a supported living environment where older people can feel safe, secure, and free to live their lives as independently as possible.

Requirements

  • Fluency in the English language
  • Experience in domestic tasks, including cleaning and laundry
