Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to lead our dedicated team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our care home, ensuring high-quality care, meeting financial targets, and maintaining full occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage the Care Team: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of care professionals, including nurses, carers, and support staff.
- Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for ensuring that the care home meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Financial Management: You will be responsible for managing the care home's budget, ensuring that financial targets are met, and making recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Resident Care: You will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive high-quality care, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
- Staff Development: You will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for staff, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration: You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Nurse (RGN or RMN).
- Leadership Experience: You must have experience of leading and managing a team of care professionals.
- Business Acumen: You must have a good understanding of business principles and be able to manage the care home's budget and resources effectively.
- Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
