Job Title: Home Manager

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a motivated Home Manager to lead an exceptional care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This special care home provides care and support to residential, respite, and residential dementia individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and resources to ensure each resident enjoys a dignified and fulfilling life.
  • Work closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators.
  • Report to the regional Operations Manager and create a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'.
  • Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential, and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
  • A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding.
  • Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
  • Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
