We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wider HR team with administration tasks and ensuring employee records are maintained efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboarding and Offboarding: Complete the onboarding process for new starters, including coordinating the AJ Bell Welcome and holding HR induction sessions. Also, handle the leavers process for exiting employees, including updating the HR system, issuing letters, and coordinating exit interviews.
- Sickness Absence: Administer the sickness absence procedure in line with company policy, supporting managers in Return to Work meetings where applicable.
- HR Administration: Support all administration duties within the HR team, such as change of job role and promotion letters. Ensure the HR system is kept up to date and maintained on a daily basis.
- Queries and Support: Keep on top of incoming queries into the HR inbox and provide support to the HR team with administration for annual tasks, such as performance reviews, holiday processes, and background checks.
- Employee Folders: Work with the HR Manager to maintain employee folders in line with GDPR.
- Regulatory Requirements: Support the business in achieving its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
- Education: Educated to Degree level (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Advanced competence level with Microsoft Excel and Word, strong I.T. skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Professional Qualifications: Associate/Graduate Member of CIPD.
- Knowledge and Skills: Awareness of current employment law and ACAS Codes of Practice, strong academic background, passion for HR, effective written and verbal communication skills, planning, organization, and time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Competitive Salary: Starting salary up to £25,000.
