Job Title: Homecare Support Worker

Location: Homecare East - Yetholm

Hours: 1 x 28.5 hours Permanent & 1 x 35.25 hours Maternity Leave Cover

Salary: £13.34 per hour / £24.87 - £25.78 pro rata per annum

Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn

Training: All training is provided.

Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you SSSC registered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
  • Promoting the health and well-being of the people we support and ensuring their needs are met in an inclusive way.
  • Supporting, enabling, and involving service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
  • Being responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.
