Position Overview

Events Coordinator – Financial Services – PRESTIGIOUS FINANCIAL ORGANIZATION - this is an ON-SITE position with a focus on INTERNAL EVENTS

With a global footprint and a commitment to excellence in client service, Carnegie Consulting is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join their London division. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit, all while showcasing a strong enthusiasm for client engagement and innovative event execution.

The role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be expected to attend all events, primarily held in London, and embrace the dynamic nature of the position. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of events in collaboration with the Marketing department as necessary.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the events team and business stakeholders to conceptualize and execute events.
  • Oversee event goals, communication strategies, scheduling, and budget management (including pre-event approvals and post-event financial assessments).
  • Engage closely with key business stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage event logistics with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communicate event timelines and deliverables effectively.
  • Coordinate compliance and attendance tracking for events, including post-event evaluations, participation metrics, feedback collection, and any necessary analytical reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with event content and external communications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in event coordination, particularly with intricate events.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with a variety of event vendors and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Salesforce, Pardot, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while adapting to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
