Position: Practice Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £30,000

Working Hours: 7.50am - 4.30pm Mon - Thur and 2pm finish on Friday

Join our esteemed client as a Practice Manager to oversee a 12-month maternity leave. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned manager to take charge of critical aspects of the practice's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Management:** Ensure the practice's financial health by adhering to the business plan, maintaining financial records, and managing audit reporting, sales and purchase ledgers, and credit control.
2. **Personnel Oversight:** Handle recruitment, selection, training, and performance management while maintaining staff records and monitoring continuing professional development (CPD).
3. **Clinical Governance:** Lead clinical governance initiatives, ensuring all training is current and preparing for inspections to uphold compliance standards.
4. **Team Collaboration:** Foster productive relationships within the team, promoting a positive and efficient working environment.
5. **Administrative Liaison:** Communicate effectively with owners regarding finance, administration, and service conditions.
6. **Staff Supervision:** Oversee staff management, including training, punctuality, uniforms, pay, and customer service.
7. **Operational Coordination:** Collaborate with businesses and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
8. **Health and Safety Management:** Uphold health and safety standards for yourself and colleagues, adhering to established policies and procedures.
9. **Premises Management:** Oversee the practice's premises, insurances, security, and inventory, with a focus on effective administration and marketing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
- Strong financial management capabilities, with a track record of monitoring performance against business plans.
- Excellent people management skills, encompassing recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing premises and inventory.
- Proficient in practice management software and computer skills.
