About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with stroke and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a high-quality stroke service within Warwickshire.
  • To provide administrative support to the department, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
  • To develop and deliver therapy treatment programmes using guidelines set by qualified therapists.
  • To evaluate patient progress, reassess and alter treatment programmes as necessary.
  • To maintain accurate documentation and ensure own competency in using medical devices and equipment.
  • To work independently and as part of a team to provide a safe and effective service.

Person Specification

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) pass in English and Maths.
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a stroke or neurological rehabilitation environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
