About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Veolia. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in developing successful pricing strategies, efficient processes, and bid solutions for new business tenders and contract renewal exercises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Create and present financial models to the appropriate delegation of authority level to inform pricing decisions.
  • Drive Sales Strategy: Analyze sales performance metrics/KPIs and improve win ratios, profitability, retention, and growth of our commercial sales.
  • Support Senior Sales Leadership: Provide data-driven insights to identify new commercial opportunities and support the senior sales leadership team in making informed decisions.
  • Present Complex Financial Models: Communicate complex financial models and data analysis to Director-level stakeholders.
  • Support Commercial Development: Engage with the commercial development and account management teams to provide regular training and support.
Requirements
  • Experience in Data Analysis: Proven experience in modeling commercial opportunities and understanding of commercial modeling systems, data, and processes.
  • Analytical Nature: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and commercial acumen.
  • Education: Degree-level education in a relevant field, such as mathematics or economics.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding of the sales process and Salesforce/CRM systems is advantageous.
