Cloud Solutions Architect

Salary Range: Up to £90,000

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite)

A leading organization is in search of a Cloud Solutions Architect to join their esteemed Strategy and Architecture team. In this role, you will evaluate and document the existing technology framework, pinpointing potential risks and opportunities for enhancement. Your collaboration with both business and IT stakeholders will be crucial in refining the current business capability model and identifying avenues for application improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrated expertise in Solutions Architecture
  2. Proficient experience in a global Solutions Architecture environment
  3. Familiarity with the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM) or equivalent methodologies
  4. Proven ability to create architecture roadmaps, standards, and blueprints
  5. Contribute to the development of group architecture principles, standards, and reference models
  6. Assist in formulating the Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap to elevate the overall architecture
  7. Ensure solution designs are innovative, suitable, and adhere to established architecture principles and standards
  8. Support the development of the organization's IT strategy, long-term planning, and assessments across various capability and technology domains
  9. Document and validate the current, target, and transitional architecture states, providing architectural guidance and oversight for ongoing projects
  10. Enhance the existing business capability model and roadmap, identifying opportunities for application rationalization
  11. Deliver insights into areas for improvement, risk management, dependencies, and opportunities to create business value while fostering cross-regional and functional collaboration
  12. Provide strategic oversight, planning, governance, and direction to a global team of Solution Architects
  13. Expertise in designing end-state architectures that align with business capabilities and defining the transition path using industry-standard frameworks
  14. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  15. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft technology ecosystem, cloud services (particularly Azure), integration, and enterprise service bus architecture

Salary: The organization offers a competitive salary package of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum for this position.
