Peaple Talent has partnered with a leading retail and e-commerce organization to recruit a skilled Dynamics developer with experience in D365 and F&O. You will join a dynamic team responsible for developing ERP, e-commerce, CRM, and BI systems to drive continuous improvement across global operations by specifying, developing, and testing key improvements to processes, integrations, and systems, with a focus on driving e-commerce and wholesale business operations.
As a key member of the team, you will design, develop, configure, customize, and support the delivery of business solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365, other Microsoft Business tools, and in-house bespoke systems. You will supervise, coach, and support junior staff and external suppliers, while managing the diagnosis and resolution of support issues in the ERP environment and in-house bespoke systems.
You will also work within the Agile methodology to deliver backlog items within two-week sprints, demonstrating a 'little and often' approach to delivering change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy customizations, integrations, and new functionality within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance on Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Dynamics 365 F&O with other business systems.
- Conduct system performance tuning and troubleshooting issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features in Dynamics 365 F&O and advise on their adoption.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Identify opportunities to maximize the use of business systems to improve efficiency across the business.
- Stay curious and enthusiastic about using automation to solve problems and inspire others to see the benefits of your work.
- Contribute to the resolution of Priority 1 (P1) major incidents and some limited out-of-hours deployments and system testing.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Ability to travel to meetings as required.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations development.
- Strong knowledge of X++, C#,.NET, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with and adherence to OWASP standards.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O integrations and data migrations.
- Understanding of finance and operations business processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
