About the Role

This is a key position that supports the delivery of a comprehensive welfare and information advisory service for international students, advising them on matters including banking, healthcare, and wellbeing, accommodation, and safety. The postholder will also support the International Student Support and Study Abroad Teams in planning and executing events, including promotional or preparation events for students studying abroad.

About the Team

The successful applicant will have experience of working with and supporting international students and will be adept at switching easily between tasks for different teams and stakeholders. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to ensure the delivery of timely and relevant support and outstanding accuracy and attention to detail, combined with excellent administrative and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a welfare and information advisory service for international students
  • Advise international students on matters including banking, healthcare, and wellbeing, accommodation, and safety
  • Support the International Student Support and Study Abroad Teams in planning and executing events
  • Work closely with the European Programmes Coordinator to assist with the administration of the Turing programme
  • Support with paperwork, reporting, and UCL's institutional application
