We are seeking a Global Mobility Senior Officer (Incoming Students Co-ordinator) to join our team in the Students & Education Directorate. This role is part of our professional services team, which provides inbound and outbound study and work abroad lifecycle support and reporting, mobility partnership agreement negotiation and management, and administration of Erasmus, Turing and the Staff International Exchange Programme.

The successful candidate will have operational responsibility for a set of tasks and processes within the Global Mobility Office's wider remit. They will work within and across multiple teams at the university, engaging with a wide range of colleagues, and contribute to activities which positively impact the student experience.

  • Manage the planning and delivery of all incoming Study Abroad programmes.
  • Co-ordinate faculty module availability, lead student module selection, allocation and amendments, and co-ordinate communications with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Delegate incoming Study Abroad tasks to two Global Mobility Officers and then oversee their delivery.
  • Lead the annual recruitment and management of the Global Mobility Peer Advisors.
  • Provide briefings and presentations on relevant topics and respond sensitively to student enquiries.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) with an indefinite contract. The successful candidate will have relevant work experience and/or education, excellent English language and communications skills, and the ability to work with others and alone under pressure. They will also have experience of using SITS:Vision or other student record databases.
