Job Title: Regional Resource Manager

The Regional Resource Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient deployment of driver and vehicle resources across various terminals in their region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of short-term, medium-term, and long-term resource requirements in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with planners to adjust resources dynamically, striking a balance between efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Authorize driver holiday and absence requests, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Work four weeks in advance to identify and address driver resource shortfalls, leveraging local overtime, cross-contracting, and agency resources as necessary.
  • Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates on upcoming resource provision.
  • Foster strong relationships with planners and drivers to maximize the benefits of these partnerships.
  • Act as duty manager on a rotational basis, handling operational issues and ensuring the smooth running of the business.
