About the Role:
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a skilled Visiting Officer to provide a comprehensive visiting service for a Local Authority Client in North London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property inspections and verify residency across the borough.
- Provide support to vulnerable or housebound customers with no advocacy or family assistance.
- Respond to income-related queries and assist with council reductions and reliefs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visits and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the Assessment Hub team and external agencies to resolve customer enquiries.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in an income collection, financial assessment, or debt-related environment.
- Proven track record in providing visiting services, including property inspections and residency checks.
- Experience handling customer enquiries and delivering high-quality services, especially to vulnerable clients.
What's on Offer:
- Salary: £17+ph
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
