Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Assess the financial performance of the organization based on financial records.
  • Identify areas of concern and provide recommendations to management.
  • Communicate and interpret financial data for non-financial managers.
  • Oversee the maintenance of Sterling bank accounts.
  • Code main bank transactions and manage cash book postings.
  • Process income from tills and manage weekly cash deposits.
  • Record utility accruals and post revenue entries.
  • Upload weekly data to the procurement system.
  • Maintain domestic and non-domestic rates.
  • Manage house licenses and oversee staff property costs.
  • Handle the Accounts Receivable inbox.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with vendors for point-of-sale and accounting software.
  • Ensure the integrity of accounts in Access Financials.
  • Generate statistical reports and perform analyses as needed.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end audits and financial reporting.
  • Review and amend UK relevant codes for accurate postings.
  • Analyze sales against expenses and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process house Capex requests.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures to maintain controls and mitigate risks.

Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with the following essential skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial tools.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience in discounted cash flows, business production processes, financial data processing, and bookkeeping.
