Job Title: Financial Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our Financial Control and Accounting function at Coatue Management L.L.C. in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building our financial infrastructure systems and tools to deliver financial information in an automated, scalable, and well-controlled manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to clearly articulate Finance requirements, gaps, and inefficiencies through discovery discussions.
  • Define and document future state requirements alongside product and ensure alignment with accounting policies and best practices on controls.
  • Active involvement during the development phase to provide feedback and iterate in a fast and agile manner.
  • Build and execute test and adoption activities for any new implementation and ensure impact to BAU operations are adequately understood and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Maintain granular level project plan for your workstream tracked via the PMO.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years post-qualification experience in Finance or Accounting roles, with experience in Finance Systems transformation.
  • Proven track record of working on complex cross-functional technology transformation and implementation projects.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced agile transformation projects ideally within a listed environment of a global financial services or payments/fintech organisation.
  • SME on financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with GL systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven track record dealing with multiple stakeholders.
