We are seeking a skilled Technical Programme Manager to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering complex technology programmes that support our colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Create and track a plan to deliver programme goals, including technical implementation plans, and ensure stakeholders are informed.
- Understand trade-offs in software delivery and drive consensus with Engineering and Product teams to obtain the best value and solution.
- Foresee potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion, and manage escalations.
- Understand technical architecture to foresee the impact on dependencies, delivery timelines, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define annual budgetary requirements.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver software or professional services, holding them to account on delivery and improvement plans.
- Contribute actively to the TPM community.
- A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology programmes across multiple infrastructure technologies.
- Business Analysis skills to ensure the scoping of work and the initiation of projects is clear and well documented.
- Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving demonstrating resolution independence.
- Finance and Procurement experience ensuring delivery approach is clear.
- Core Technology fundamentals in infrastructure with SDLC and ITSM training.
- Key understanding of when to use appropriate Programme Methodologies.
- Managing Risk within projects and programmes.
- Good reporting skills for programmes and financial forecasting.
- Product Methodologies.
- Development Life-cycle.
- Excellent JIRA / Confluence skills to manage programmes of work.
- Strong project delivery assurance experience.
