About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Programme Manager/Infrastructure to join our team. As a key member of our EngineeringUK team, you will be responsible for delivering complex technology programmes that support our colleagues and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and track a plan to deliver programme goals, ensuring colleagues and stakeholders are kept up-to-date.
  • Understand trade-offs in software delivery, using experience and influencing skills to drive consensus with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion, and manage escalations.
  • Understand technical architecture to foresee the impact on dependencies, delivery timelines, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define annual budgetary requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver software or professional services, holding them to account on delivery and improvement plans.
  • Contribute actively to TPM community.
Requirements
  • A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology programmes across multiple infrastructure technologies.
  • Business Analysis skills to ensure scoping of work and initiation of projects is clear and well-documented.
  • Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving demonstrating resolution independence.
  • Finance and Procurement experience ensuring delivery approach is clear.
  • Core Technology fundamentals in infrastructure with SDLC and ITSM training.
  • Key understanding of when to use appropriate Programme Methodologies.
  • Managing Risk within projects and programmes.
  • Delivering Programme Governance at senior levels.
  • Good reporting skills for programmes and financial forecasting.
  • Product Methodologies.
  • Retail Technology Awareness.
  • Development Life-cycle.
  • Excellent JIRA/Confluence skills to manage programmes of work.
  • Strong project delivery assurance experience.
