Business Development Manager

Harvest Integrated Research Organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities across Europe. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading initiatives to generate and engage with business partners, building new business for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new partnership opportunities through research and outreach to organizations and individuals.
  • Conduct regular outreach to target clients to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Leverage industry contacts to generate new leads and RFPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for the company to increase value to clients.
  • Plan and host networking events to increase the visibility of the HiRO brand to prospective clients, and represent the company at various conferences and events.
  • Lead the bid defense process by developing costing models, presentations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to present at bid defense meetings.
  • Win project awards to meet or exceed individual sales goals, and maintain existing business by building a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Think critically to ensure project success and adapt to changing market trends.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of prior life science related business development experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies, with a focus on driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and internet research.
  • Focused and goal-oriented, with the ability to maintain demanding timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent understanding of business and industry trends, with the ability to interpret trends relevant to the business.
  • This role requires travel based on business needs.
