About the Role

The Best Connection Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Systems Administrator to join our Central Managed Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our customers and ensure the smooth operation of our payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance:
    • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, meeting company deadlines.
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with client contacts to collect accurate and timely temporary worker hours and information.
    • Ensure system updates are completed to submit temporary worker hours.
    • Respond to and resolve issues for temporary workers from the branch network.
  • Administration:
    • Act as a professional first point of contact for customers via phone and email.
    • Maintain accurate records on various databases and manage client documentation as required.
The Package
  • Annual salary of £24,250.
  • 30 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days after a year's employment, inclusive of statutory holidays.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous payroll experience would be beneficial but full training is provided.
  • Experience of a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Previous experience of industrial, warehouse, distribution, and driving recruitment.
