Job Title: Financial Support Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Assistant to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. As a Financial Support Assistant, you will provide key support to our finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the finance team with tasks such as receipt allocation, raising invoices/credit notes, and chasing overdue payments.
  • Assist with the Purchase Ledger, registering/posting invoices, reconciling statements, and resolving invoice queries.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues for queries related to sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with projects, ad hoc administrative duties, and covering absences within the department.
  • Ensure all financial processes align with internal policies and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a finance team.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookups.
