  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery
    • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences

    • Identify opportunities to increase portfolio sizes and add to business development

  • Financial Management
    • Manage the finances of the portfolio, including driving monthly billing targets and monitoring recoveries

  • Team Development
    • Organize and provide on-the-job coaching to team members
    • Identify training and development needs and ensure they are facilitated
  • Personal Branding
    • Develop a personal brand that promotes the work and appeal of the service charge team
    • Active involvement in creating and sharing content on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
    • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve client service and efficiency
  • Software Implementation
    • Assist with the implementation and development of bespoke software across the internal team and clients
    • Provide training and support to team members on the use of the software
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date with sector technical updates and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified
  • Strong accounting background, including reviewing work from colleagues
  • Ideal experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organized and methodical approach to handling workload
  • Proficient in MS Office products, with in-depth experience and knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of service charge accounting an advantage
  • Ability to learn and develop own knowledge
